Chardonnay 2020

One of the most alluring wines in our portfolio, we made a conscious shift in canopy management leaving more leaf-layer in and around the fruit protecting it from the sun’s intensity. The resulting wine is richly flavored while finding beautiful balance with mouthfeel and alcohol.

Driving the core of this Chardonnay is the Montrachet selection. At 70% of the blend its rich with chai spice, jasmine, and toasted almonds. At 30% of the blend, the Robert Young selection had dense, tiny berries that overall resulted in less fruit from our block but nonetheless intensely flavored.
